Coverage details

Covers SR-41 from south of Coarsegold through Oakhurst — some nearby roads aren't monitored. See what's included.

This status covers the known Oakhurst access path on SR-41 from 3 miles south of Coarsegold at Madera postmile 25.403 through Oakhurst to 3.5 miles north of Big Cedar Springs at postmile 44.415. It answers the SR-41 state-highway support question for the Oakhurst and Bass Lake hub.

Fish Camp and Oakhurst share part of SR-41, but they have separate destination verdicts. Oakhurst's existing access truth remains unchanged; Fish Camp uses the reviewed northbound span from the SR-49 junction through the South Entrance terminal. The Fish Camp terminal is Yosemite South Entrance. Wawona, National Park Service-managed Wawona Road, other in-park roads, and local and county roads remain outside the Oakhurst answer.

Conditions can change quickly in the mountains. This page never replaces chain requirements, closures, or official Caltrans guidance. Fish Camp has a separate destination answer. This Oakhurst boundary supports no claim about Wawona, National Park Service-managed Wawona Road, other in-park roads, or local and county roads. Neither surface makes a safe-to-drive or all-clear claim.
